WHO WE ARE
JoEllen Claypool, Mary Vine, and Kimbre Christopher comprise the Directors of ICAN. ICAN offers book coaching, social media training, virtual assisting, and private instruction for writing, publication, and marketing.
ICAN exists to promote, educate, and encourage authors with a heart for writing. ICAN is goal-minded to reach out to the unpublished as well as the published author.
We are excited to help you connect with other local authors and find out from you first hand, what would be most helpful to you in your writing career. On months when we are not having a live event or newsletter, we arrange a drop-in, no-host coffee at a local coffee shop, diner, or Zoom so we can all chat about writing. Are you working on a new project? Do you have questions? Come join us! Grab a cup of coffee and let's chat!
Watch our Facebook page (Idaho Creative Authors Network), newsletters, and your email for when and where the next coffee chat will be.
Coffee Chat is a time for networking with other authors and chatting about all things writing! Our next meeting will be in February 25th at 10am at the Middleton Sunrise Cafe.
Stay in touch; keep up with what's going on in ICAN, and learn something new. ICAN publishes a quarterly newsletter which lets you know what events are coming up and provides a short article written by one of us three directors (JoEllen Claypool, Kimbre Christopher, and Mary Vine) about the craft of writing or the writing life.
Sign up for the newsletter on the Home page of this website. You will not be barraged with emails. We hope you will find our short newsletter helpful and informative.
Join ICAN Directors on April 22, 2023 from 9am to 3:30pm for the 2023 Writers' Retreat being held at the old Huston School in Caldwell, ID.
