JoEllen Claypool, author of The Secrets Behind the Eyes and A Realist’s Guide to Being a Pastor’s Wife, has enjoyed the writing journey on many levels. She loves exploring all genres and commits to making the most of every opportunity when it comes to playing with words.

She has illustrated two of her own books, The Battle for Christmas and Follow Me Hummingbird and has fallen in love with her characters in her Triumphant Trio Series, a juvenile fiction series about a brother and sister and their friend learning lessons and making a difference. The first book in the series is Truth in Troy Valley. The second book is Faith in Troy Valley, and the most recent is Loyalty in Troy Valley, JoEllen’s first mystery.

Also published recently has been her journal If Words Were Falling Down Like Rain. This book creates the perfect opportunity to practice the writing craft as she shares her personal quotes and presents the reader with thoughtful writing prompts.

​

 

After publishing her first book, JoEllen quickly realized that was the easy part and embraced the new task of public speaking at writing events, homeschool groups, and women’s retreats.

​

 

Understanding the impact that one person can make, JoEllen is eager to reach out and encourage authors of all ages, assuring them that they have something valuable to offer through their words.

​

 

JoEllen Claypool specializes in book coaching, editing, and ghostwriting and loves that part of her job is to help others achieve their dreams.

​

 

JoEllen also serves with her husband who pastors a small country church in Caldwell, Idaho.
